The homam begins with a sankalpa in your name and gotra, dedicating the fire ritual's merit to you and your family.

Ganapathi puja & kalash sthapana

Lord Ganesh is worshipped first, and the sacred kalash is set up to invite divine presence into the fire.

Agni pratishtha (fire invocation)

The sacred fire is consecrated and Ayusha is invoked into the flames.

Ahutis (fire offerings)

Sacred offerings and mantras are made into the fire, one after another, as prescribed for this homam.

Purnahuti & aarti

The final, largest offering (purnahuti) completes the homam, followed by aarti and prasad distribution.
